There's a myth in the agency world that the more complex and expensive your software stack is, the more professional you are. Agencies love to boast about their "proprietary AI-driven platforms" and their complex web of integrations.

We think that's a distraction. The tools shouldn't be the focus; the work should be.

Our toolkit is intentionally small, simple, and, frankly, a little boring. We choose tools that are reliable, easy to use, and that fade into the background, allowing us to focus on what actually matters: strategy, design, and clear communication.

Here’s what we use every day:

  1. Basecamp: This is the heart of our agency. Every client project lives in Basecamp. It's where we handle all communication, share files, and track to-dos. We use it because it’s built for calm, asynchronous work. It keeps everything in one place, which means no more hunting through emails for a crucial piece of feedback.

  2. Framer: We use Framer for all our design work. It's the industry standard for a reason: it's collaborative, reliable, and lives in the browser. It allows us to work together as a team and to easily share progress with clients.

  3. Google Docs: We write all our copy in Google Docs. It’s simple, everyone knows how to use it, and its commenting and suggestion features are perfect for collaborative editing. No fancy AI copywriters, no complex content management systems. Just a blank page.

  4. Plausible Analytics: We use Plausible for website analytics because it’s simple and privacy-focused. It gives us the data we need—what pages are popular, where visitors are coming from—without the overwhelming complexity and creepy tracking of Google Analytics.

And that’s pretty much it.

We don't have a custom-built project management dashboard or a subscription to a dozen different SaaS tools. We believe that complexity is a tax. Every new tool adds another layer of training, another point of failure, and another monthly fee.

We prefer to run on a small, solid foundation of tools that have proven their worth over years. It’s boring, but it’s effective. It lets us spend our time thinking about your business, not our software.
